Incorporated in 1991, with Mr. Atul Birla as its head, Seascope Exports became the Seascope Group's export arm, and began operations with a focus on the African markets and their ever growing potential. During the initial years of business, this export house traded in Hardware tools and Cooking utensils, following which, they slowly ventured into other product lines like Spices, Incense Sticks, Cosmetics and Food products including Ready-to-eat, Ready-to-cook and Frozen foods.

This family run business unit, expanded into the second generation of the Birla family line, when Mr. Akash Birla, Mr. Anil Birla’s son, came on board in 2003. Subsequently in 2005, Seascope Exports went on to add finished Paper products like Paper, Board and Tissue, as well as printing & packaging related machinery to their widespread product line. Over the years, their business kept growing and they entered into more and more South and East African markets and also into the Middle Eastern markets.

With the efforts of Mr. Atul Birla and Mr. Akash Birla, supported by a team of 6 individuals, Seascope Exports has become a reputable and well-known firm, and has been granted the status of a government recognized export house starting 2009.
